WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

Being that the products are 90% - 100% natural, the shelf life varies depending on the product.

As we use only the finest natural ingredients known to us and minimal preservatives in our fresh, original preparations, we offer the following guidelines to help maintain the freshness and efficacy of our goodies for as long as possible:

We recommend that hair conditioners should be used within 12 months of purchase. Oils and Butter should  be used within 12 months from purchase date. Shampoos generally have a shelf-life of one year or more from date of purchase. In general, it is a good idea to refrigerate products to extend shelf life. Products that have a high content of Natural ingredients will expire quickly so please try to use them up.

If you open a product and it doesn't smell right or is starting to mold, please DO NOT use it. Dispose of it immediately. Shescentit will not be responsible for damages or injuries that may result from usage. By purchasing our products and checking the I agree to terms and conditions box you are agreeing to the terms on this page. This is legally binding.

We recommend use of sterile disposable or plastic spoons rather than fingers - to remove the product from the jar in order to decrease the potential introduction of bacteria from the fingertips into the product.

Post-Usage: Please be sure to close lids tightly on all jars and to remove any residue from the spouts on bottles before each use. Bottle tops should be fully closed when storing your product or between applications.

DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?

Shescentit products are not tested on animals. We are a cruelty-free company.

ARE SHESCENTIT PRODUCTS VEGAN?

No, overall, our products are not vegan as some products contain honey, which is an animal by-product.

CAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS ON RELAXED HAIR?

Yes, our products are formulated to be used  on both natural and chemically treated hair. We have a vairiety of hair products that all hair types will benefit from.

WHY IS THE PRODUCT A DIFFERENT COLOR OR SCENT FROM THE LAST TIME I ORDERED?

Due to the fact that we use the purest natural and unrefined ingredients, the color of our products *may* differ slightly in color and fragrance from time to time. This does not mean that the quality is different.

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

Our products are manufactured in the USA.

ORDERING

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Refunds on products are issued only if they are received damaged. Please email myorder@shescentit.com about damaged products within 2 business days of receipt of order. Please also provide pictures showing the damage.  Read more about our refund policies here

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER?

You can pay using any major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) over a secure SSL, or bank issued debit card. You can also pay via PayPal, ShopPay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

We do not accept C.O.Ds, checks or money orders.

HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

You can log into your account to check the status of your order. You can also check the status of your order via the link in the order confirmation email.

WHEN CAN I CANCEL AN ORDER?

Orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours.  Once 24 hours have passed, your order cannot be cancelled.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?

Unfortunately, we are unable to change an order that has been placed. If you've forgotten something and want to add it to your order or need to swap products, we're not able to do so.

You'll have to cancel your existing order and place another. Please email myorder@shescentit.com to cancel your existing order. 

I ENTERED AN INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS AND NEED TO CHANGE IT. WHAT DO I DO?

If your order hasn't shipped, please contact us at myorder@shescentit.com. We will correct the address. Unfortunately, we cannot correct email addresses once orders are placed.

HOW CAN I USE MY DISCOUNT CODE?

Discount codes must be applied at checkout to be applicable. Discount/Promo codes cannot be combined with another. Only one code can be used at a time.

Discount codes must be used within the validity date.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ORDER A PRODUCT AND IT SHOWS OUT OF STOCK ON THE WEBSITE?

Once you placed your order, your in-stock product will be held in the warehouse.  An out of stock status on the website does not apply to previously placed orders.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

No, we do not accept returns. All sales are final once shipped.

HOW SOON WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Shipping times vary. Extended shipping time may occur due to inclement weather, promotional sales and extenuating circumstances.

WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING COST?

WHAT SHIPPING CARRIERS DO YOU USE?

We currently ship all retail orders via UPS & USPS. 

WHERE DOES MY ORDER SHIP FROM?

Your order ships from our warehouse in NY.

DO YOU SHIP TO POST OFFICE AND APO/AE BOXES

Yes, we do. All APO/AE and PO Boxes orders ship via the USPS. We cannot ship the orders via UPS. Please note, shipping delays may occur.
