WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?
Being that the products are 90% - 100% natural, the shelf life varies depending on the product.
As we use only the finest natural ingredients known to us and minimal preservatives in our fresh, original preparations, we offer the following guidelines to help maintain the freshness and efficacy of our goodies for as long as possible:
We recommend that hair conditioners should be used within 12 months of purchase. Oils and Butter should be used within 12 months from purchase date. Shampoos generally have a shelf-life of one year or more from date of purchase. In general, it is a good idea to refrigerate products to extend shelf life. Products that have a high content of Natural ingredients will expire quickly so please try to use them up.
If you open a product and it doesn't smell right or is starting to mold, please DO NOT use it. Dispose of it immediately. Shescentit and will not be responsible for damages or injuries that may result from usage. By purchasing our products and checking the I agree to terms and conditions box you are agreeing to the terms on this page. This is legally binding.
We recommend use of sterile disposable, plastic spoons rather than fingers - to remove the product form the jar in order to decrease the potential introduction of bacteria from the fingertips into the product.
Post-Usage Please be sure to close lids tightly on all jars and to remove any residue from the spouts on bottles before each use. Bottle tops should be fully closed when storing product or between applications.

CAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS ON NATURAL HAIR?
Yes, our products are formulated to be used on both natural and chemically treated hair. We have a vairiety of hair products that all hair types will benefit from.
WHY IS THE PRODUCT A DIFFERENT COLOR OR SCENT FROM THE LAST TIME I ORDERED?
Due to the fact that we use the purest natural and unrefined ingredients, the color of our products *may* differ slightly in color and fragrance from time to time. This does not mean that the quality is different.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Refunds on products only if they are received damaged. You should contact us immediately upon receipt of product. Simply write return to sender on the package and mail it back to us. We'll have a replacement sent to you in a timely manner.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER
You can pay using Paypal or your credit card over a secure SSL. We do not accept C.O.Ds, checks or money orders.
HOW SOON WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Please allow up to 3 business days for your orders to be shipped.
Delivery time will depend on destination.
Please note that selecting priority shipping does not mean that your order will be filled any faster. It only means that the time it takes from the time it is shipped to the time you receive it is expedited.
WHAT ARE MY SHIPPING COST?
Shipping costs are calculated by the shopping cart at the time you place your order. We do not profit from shipping fees. In fact a lot of the shipping fees come out of our pockets. Shipping fees will vary depending on the weight of your package and what zone your delivery address is located in.
We currently ship all retail orders via USPS. They are a reliable and affordable option and offer faster delivery times at a lesser cost than other shipping carriers.
DO YOU OFFER FREE SAMPLES?
Currently we do not offer free samples by request. It's impossible to supply free samples to everyone who request them. However samples of some of our products are available for purchase. From time to time, you the customer may receive free samples with your purchase.
WHY AREN'T ALL YOUR PRODUCTS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN MINI SIZES?
We currently offer select products in mini travel sizes. It is very difficult to offer all our products in minis for variying reasons.
